Still a Baby Sling Maker

I decided to bite the bullet and renew my business insurance and continue making slings, at least for this year! So many of you continue to give me such positive feedback that it feels like a public service to stay in business! (and a creative outlet, of course - money making - well, not so much, to be honest!).

Keep blogging about us and telling your friends! Our ad budget is pretty much nil, so our sales come from you, our dear and loyal customers. Tell your favorite baby stores about us! Brag on Facebook!

Sling Rings for Sale

We did so well with hats this spring and summer that I ended up with a bunch of rings in colors we didn't use. The High Cost of Liability Insurance

Dear readers,

I am at a fork in the road. My liability and business insurance is set to renew and it is expensive for a small business like mine. Sales have been the lowest since the first year I launched the ecommerce site for our line. I am forced with a decision - stay in business, without insurance and not sell slings anymore and focus on our burgeoning hat line? Or, renew the insurance and hope people start buying new slings again soon, but deplete my business cash?

I really don't know. People who buy Posh Papoose(R) know our slings are terrific and I hate to walk away from 7 years of building a trusted and appreciated brand, but it's tough right now.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. I have until mid-October to figure this out...
